Down By Law touring South America...
Well, it looks like the Down By Law tour of South America is on! The band will be rocking in Brazil and Argentina and possibly some other countries doing about a dozen shows. The shows and venues that have been confirmed have been added the Tour section. Check it out!...

Down By Law playing May 1st in Florida...
Before Down By Law head down to South America they will be playing a show with The Spears (see below) at the Emerald Bar in St. Petersburg, Florida, Check out the flyer here...

Down By Law working on new songs...
Dave and Sam have been working on new Down By Law songs. They've got several recorded and mixed, and they are now actively looking for a label. The new songs sound great. We're making the first song, "Bullets", available for download here.

Sam's busy as always...
Sam's busy as always with his other bands going full force.

One of Sam's many other bands, The Spears, have finished recording their album and it is now is being mixed for a June release. I've been looking forward to this one with vocals from Chris Barrows (Pink Lincolns), Sam Williams (Down By Law) on guitar, Rob Rampy (D.R.I) on drums, and Gary Strickland (Hated Youth) on bass. They will be playing a live show with Down By Law on May 1 at the Emerald Club in St. Petersburg, FL. Check out the flyer here...

Denial Fiend just announced that Rob Rampy (D.R.I.) will be joining the band full time as the drummer and Blaine Cook (The Accused, Toe Tag) will be joining them as a guest vocalist as they record a new EP scheduled to be released in 2009 on Ibex Moon Records. Sam commented on the new lineup, "We're really happy to be working with Rob, as we're huge fans of his work with D.R.I. The guy is old-school, fast and tight. And although Blaine won't be a permanent member of the band, we're extremely pleased to have him with us on this EP. Of course THE ACCUSED has always been a major influence on DENIAL FIEND. Both of these guys fit our current direction perfectly - a little faster, a little more technical, and more thrashy all the way around."
